The fascination of flying
Even as a child, I was fascinated by flying. The view above the clouds, the gentle vibration in the fuselage, the feeling of taking off—none of it ever left me. Years later, I made that dream a reality.
I completed my training as a commercial pilot (ATPL theory) at the Horizon Swiss Flight Academy. The theory, flight hours, and simulator training not only provided me with technical skills, but also showed me just how much discipline, precision, and responsibility are involved in flying. It’s very similar to music.
Private pilot by conviction
Even though I don't work in scheduled services today, I still fly as a Private pilot Regularly and with great joy. I love taking people on special sightseeing flights—over mountain landscapes, lakes, and valleys. Every time is a new experience—not just for my passengers, but for me as well.
What is important to me
In the cockpit, it's not about putting on a show—it's about clarity, calm, planning, and the trust between pilot and aircraft. I bring this mindset with me from music, and it also shapes the way I fly.
The connection between music and aviation
At first glance, music and flying may seem to have nothing in common. But to me, they are closely related: Both require full presence, good listening skills, the right timing, and the ability to give yourself completely to the moment. And both can move people deeply and lastingly.
